Bea Young
Bea Young is an international editor and filmmaker based in New York City with a passion for creating work that moves people. She is a partner of the production company Velvet Content and the founder of 806 Post, a modern online post-production business.
Currently, she is an in-house editor for the global advertising agency denstumcgarrybowen, where she edits videos for some of their biggest clients like American Express, Chevron and Subway.
Most notably, she was the Creative Director and Producer of The Violet Lights Project, a branded content film for New York University which was projected onto the illustrious Stern building on Gould Plaza for the inauguration of the 16th President of NYU, Andrew Hamilton.
Editing and filmmaking are her greatest loves but outside of cinema, her passions include music (being a rockstar was her backup plan), and travel (Anthony Bourdain style).
